A day with Aunt Freakles.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!We went to visit your Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. We went to eat and you were so interested in the ceiling. All the waitress and hostess kept coming over to our table and saying how cute you are. After that we went to take some pictures. You were in a very serious mood. You loved feeling the grass, twigs, rocks, and hearing the sounds of the lake.

I can't believe how fast you are growing now. It seems like just yesterday we brought you home from the hospital. Two scared new parent. So unprepared for what was in store. Today you walked across the rim of the couch. After one of your favorite things. The TV clicker, of course mommy's cell phone will do too. :)

The past Two days you had a new food. Squash and corn. You've had corn before but squash is new. You seem to like it,and it seems to like you okay too. 


We are still trying to master sleeping through the night. You've done pretty good the last few nights, but I think that is due to the pain reliever we have been giving you since you are cutting two new teeth. I hope they cut all the way soon. I feel so bad for you and wish I could go through the pain for you.

Our little life.

I decided to start this blog as a way to record our son's life. We are not a traditional family and I couldn't really find a baby book that had everything I wanted in it. I wish I would have started this earlier seeing as our son is almost 8 months old, but I figured better now than never.

03-12-2011 Yesterday was a fun day. We went to visit grandpa. He commented on how he sees a lot of him in you and you impressed him with how easily you stand supported and crawl.

We also found out that Zane is cutting 2 more teeth. Your right front tooth and the one to its side. 



Today is the second time change in our son's life. He woke up at 6am (really 5am) this morning. He tried so hard to soothe himself back to sleep but after 20 minutes of falling back asleep/crying etc I decided to pick him up. After a really big burp and some milk he fell fast asleep.

He has been a bit on the grumpy side today. That is to be expected since he are cutting two teeth. Mommy and Daddy bought him a new toy today. It's the ball popper you loved when you attended Aaden's bday party. He is not to sure about it yet, but I think he will grow to love it in time. Right now, you seem very determined to get this walking thing down. He pulls up/crawls all over anything with any height to it. It's crazy to think you just learned to crawl and your are already trying to figure out how to walk. And at only 7 1/2 month old. Crazy!
